NEW YORK CITY, NY — Ignite Social Impact Summit 2024 is set to blaze a trail of inspiration and action on April 11 & 12 at Union Theological Seminary and Teachers College Columbia University. This 1.5-day summit, inspired by President Obama’s stirring call to action at the 2023 Obama Foundation Democracy Forum, aims to support attendees building grassroots movements, curating corporate careers, social entrepreneurs building generational wealth, and nonprofit leaders developing impact strategy plans.

The summit, founded and spearheaded by Obama Scholars Amanda Morrall and Huong Dang, is a testament to their commitment to nurturing the burgeoning interest in social impact among students and young professionals. “Ignite Social Impact Summit is a platform designed to ignite, grow, and launch the next generation of social impact leaders,” said Amanda Morrall, Co-Founder of the summit and Obama Scholar at Columbia University. “Through engaging panel discussions featuring esteemed speakers from diverse backgrounds, including NBA, NYC Department of Small Business Services, MTV/Paramount, Civic Nation, Mellon Foundation, and Ballmer Group, attendees will explore critical topics such as social entrepreneurship, impact investing, philanthropy, csr/ESG, and civic engagement.”
